The University seeks a new Vice-Chancellor to succeed Professor Paul Johnson who will complete his five year appointment in January 2017.
The new Vice-Chancellor will be expected to build on the strategy and transformation agenda that Professor Johnson and his leadership team have initiated and lead the University to achieve its strategic goals. UWA continues to perform strongly across all key higher education measures and remains committed to meeting its ambition to be recognised as one of the world’s top 50 universities by 2050.
Candidates will demonstrate an appropriate record of education leadership and management experience commensurate with leading a world-class academic institution. They will also possess the academic credibility to engage colleagues, a global outlook, and the communication skills to inspire others in the ambitions and aspirations of UWA.
