Are you passionate about the design and development of high-quality digital media learning resources? Do you enjoy sharing knowledge and helping people to achieve educational outcomes? We are seeking Learning Technologist who will value our students and teaching staff as much as we do to join our division. We are growing and are excited about supporting innovative education with technology to provide the very best learning experience for our students. As one of our Learning Technologists, you will have a wide scope to be involved in Technology Enhanced Learning and be a key player in our mission to “Transform Lives”.

Using instructional design principles and methodologies, you will enhance teaching and learning practices to become more engaging and creative by working closely with the teaching staff. You will have the opportunity to work with, and train staff to create and use state of the art resources in our innovative blended learning, flipped classroom environments.

If you are a creative self-starter who can bring conceptual ideas to life, through strong writing, storyboarding and editing skills, who also shares our passion to deliver innovative technologically enhanced materials that empower our teachers to provide an exceptional learning experience to our students, this opportunity could be for you.

Desired skills and experience

  • A post-secondary qualification in a digital media design, education design or related degree is desirable
  • Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
  • A background in teaching and/or experience in creating learning objects for students for whom English is an additional language

Salary: $76,555 - $88,039 plus 9.50% superannuation,dependent upon skills and experience
