Academic B, $85,936 - 102,049 per annum plus 17% employer superannuation contribution. This is a full time ( 36.75 hours per week) continuing appointment.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Discipline – Midwifery, of the College of Health and Biomedicine, you will be required to contribute to course and unit development and the teaching and assessment of units within the College's undergraduate programs, specifically in the Discipline of Midwifery. You will teach into the midwifery program and will have broad based knowledge and experience of contemporary midwifery practice and use of an evidence-based approach to women's and babies' care. In addition, you will carry out activities to develop your scholarly, research and/or professional activities relevant to the Discipline.

You will be a dynamic educator who is also capable of contributing to the broad strategic areas of the College. Your superior communication and relationship building skills will see you take leadership in unit coordination and management of a significant portfolio. In addition, you will be motivated to enhance the student's experience and quality of course delivery.
