The Sydney Nursing School is highly regarded nationally and internationally for academic excellence, quality teaching and innovative research. Sydney Nursing School has three pre-registration education pathways. These include the Bachelor of Nursing (Advanced Studies) program, the Master of Nursing (Graduate Entry) program and a suite of combined degrees which enable pre-registration students to maintain broad study interests by linking their bachelor degree in Arts, Science or Health Sciences to the Master of Nursing. Sydney Nursing School also has an exciting suite of advanced and specialised nursing programs in Cancer and Haematology, Advanced Nursing Practice, Emergency, Intensive Care, Mental Health, Primary Health Care and Nurse Practitioner, and a range of research initiatives linked to these areas. The School also offers a Bachelor of Nursing (Post-registration) program in Singapore at the Singapore Institute of Management. Local, international and offshore students benefit from valuable knowledge and specialist skills which are current and marketable, and responsive to current and future community health care needs.
We are now seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join the team at Sydney Nursing School. You will have responsibility for teaching and research in two or more of the following areas: clinical nursing, illness experience, clinical and patient education, professional practice, research. You will have tertiary teaching experience and will have an established national research profile in a relevant field. You will engage with and contribute to faculty research, faculty management, student support and learning and teaching activities and processes.
