Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow in Economics
About the job
You will be responsible for developing, engaging and leading high quality research projects in economic evaluation, outcomes assessment and discrete choice experiments for the health and aged care sectors. These research projects will have a significant impact in applied economics as well as be acknowledged at an international level as being influential in expanding the knowledge of their relevant discipline.
Skills and Experience
At a minimum, you will have a quantitative PhD in applied economics, econometrics, or other relevant field, and demonstrate a strong interest in developing knowledge and experience in health economics. You will have experience conducting high quality research evidenced in highly-ranked publications, and managing projects with multiple priorities.
Your high-level oral and written communication skills, coupled with effective interpersonal skills, will be essential for presenting information effectively to a wide audience, working within a diverse team and contributing to the supervision of research students.
To be considered at level CSRF, you will be experienced in survey design, analysis and interpretation of choice data, possess a track record of having conducted quality research using discrete choice modelling methods, and the ability to develop research proposals to obtain research funding from external bodies.
