The School of Humanities and Social Sciences is a multi-campus academic unit offering a suite of undergraduate and postgraduate courses both on campus and by online education in a range of disciplines including: English, History, Human Services, Politics, Philosophy and Sociology. There are approximately 65 school staff who are engaged in teaching and research across a range of arts and humanities areas.
Reporting to the Head, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in Social Work and Human Services will have a strong background in Social Work with relevant recent practice and/ or research experience.
The successful applicants will teach in subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels for internal and online students which will focus on a range of social work and human services subjects. This position will involve subject administration, course support, field education and teaching in residential schools, and research if a teaching-research position is appointed.
