The School of Humanities and Social Sciences is a multi-campus academic unit offering a suite of undergraduate and postgraduate courses both on campus and by online education in a range of disciplines including: English, History, Human Services, Politics, Philosophy and Sociology. There are approximately 65 school staff who are engaged in teaching and research across a range of arts and humanities areas.

The Workplace Learning Coordinator/ Lecturer in Social Work facilitates student access to quality workplace learning opportunities to assist in the preparation of reflective and ethical professionals.

The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective partnerships in social work and human services settings, and working with on-campus and online students to aid in the successful completion of the workplace learning component of their course.
