This an exciting opportunity for a highly strategic international education leader to be involved in growing a dynamic operation. The Executive Director is responsible for the delivery of the Division’s international student recruitment strategy and provides expert advice and support to University senior management. The position ensures the provision and effectiveness of the international operation as well as initiating business development aimed at growing international student load and raising the university's profile internationally. The Executive Director manages the Divisional professional staff, is a member of the Division’s Senior Executive and reports to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global).
The position requires a strategic leader with demonstrated experience and knowledge in international sales and admissions, recruiting trends, digital and social media strategies, sales objectives, international marketing and conversion strategies. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams to deliver results in line with strategic and operational KPIs. A postgraduate qualification in marketing or a related field is required.
This is a full-time position, based in Hobart and is offered for a five year fixed term. Interstate
and overseas travel is required together with the capacity to work outside normal office hours when required. A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
