• $104,959 to $112,240 per annum (HEO 9)

The Audit and Risk Directorate provides an independent, objective assurance and consulting service designed to add value and improve organisational effectiveness and provides assurance to Senior Management as to the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management, controls and governance processes.
About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Principal Internal Auditor to join our Audit and Risk Team. Reporting to the Director, Audit and Risk, the position provides expert analysis and professional advice on risk management, internal control and corporate governance processes and systems across all the organisational areas of the University. The incumbent works closely with Senior Management to identify and evaluate business risks and develops effective solutions to complex business issues.
Skills & Experience
Your expertise in contemporary internal auditing concepts, techniques, technology and standards and experience in conducting operational audits and investigations is critical to the success of this position. In addition you will have superior analytical, communication and presentation skills.
