Open Faculty Position in Chemistry (Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen, China)
Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen (HITSZ) is a higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China in February 2002, co-founded by Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) and Shenzhen Municipal Government. With approval by the Ministry of Education of PRC, HITSZ aims to develop into a graduate education institution, as well as developing undergraduate education focusing on natural sciences and engineering. The University expects to reach a capacity of 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students in the coming five years.
As part of this new growth strategy HITSZ is now seeking exceptional candidates for a full-time faculty position in Chemistry at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank in the following broad areas.
An earned Ph.D. and a distinguished academic record in Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Biochemistry or other related areas will be considered. Candidates should have demonstrated excellence in research and a commitment to quality teaching. Successful applicant will be expected to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses and initiate and sustain a vigorous research program.
