Bangor University School of Healthcare Sciences is offering an exciting opportunity for an aspiring and experienced Lecturer to join our team in North Wales. We can offer a stimulating environment and support to enable you to fulfil your professional ambitions.
We would like to recruit a Lecturer who will have expertise in a range of specialty areas which reflect the expertise of the School and our ambitions for growth. This includes:

This post provides opportunities for both experienced candidates, and those with less experience who may benefit from a ‘First into Teaching’ programme of development.
This post is available on either of our Scholarship and Research career tracks. All appointees will have opportunities to contribute to teaching and learning across the School’s portfolio.
Those appointed on the Teaching and Scholarship track will be supported to lead innovation in teaching and learning, including in clinical practice. Those appointed to the Teaching and Research track will be mentored to develop their research potential and impact. Candidates should have current registration with an appropriate registered professional Body such as the
Nursing and Midwifery Council. The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for all posts.

succeed in their professional careers. We have a thriving research environment, and achieved an excellent outcome in the REF, placed in the top 20 of 94 Universities entered in Unit of Assessment 3. We were ranked 3rd in the UK for nursing and midwifery in the 2016 Complete University Guide.
Successful candidates will be expected to commence in either Autumn 2016 or Spring 2017. Salary will be on the appropriate grade dependent on qualifications and experience.
