Rural Estate Management: Programme Leader/Tutor
Full or part time, based Reading or Derby
Salary £40-50k plus benefits

University College of Estate Management (UCEM) is the leading international provider of supported online learning for the Built Environment, with over 90 years’ experience in providing the highest quality learning opportunities for the industry.  UCEM offers a range of property-related academic programmes, as well as providing professional development and tailor-made corporate training courses.

Student numbers continue to grow and we need to expand our academic resource within the Real Estate Faculty.  We need you to provide academic leadership and undertake online teaching in the subject area of real estate, particularly in one or more of the following:

  • Rural Valuations
  • Rural Land Management
  • Agriculture and Farming
  • Rural Property Management

You will provide programme leadership and tutor students; you will also provide pastoral support, help develop new programmes, and engage with industry.  In terms of essential requirements, you must have at least an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject and a working knowledge of rural estate management and/or agricultural and farming practice.  We also require teaching or industry experience.  We have a detailed job specification for this role so please, before applying, take a look:
