If you're after a rewarding career, Monash University can help make it happen. With leading academics and world-class resources, combined with a ranking in the top 100 universities worldwide, we offer all you need to build a brighter future.
The School of Rural Health (SRH) has the mandate in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences to improve the health status of regional, rural and remote communities in Australia, and more specifically in Victoria. We meet this mandate through the development and implementation of medical and health professions education programs in under‑served rural communities, the development of new models of rural health services and targeted research that addresses priority health problems in rural populations. SRH has major regional academic sites in South East and North West Victoria.
In your role as Lecturer you will be required to play a supportive role in the management of medicine course assessment in the Gippsland region. In this position you will also be expected to participate in the delivery of the theme III - scientific basis of clinical practice (medical sciences) program and small group learning classes in the early years of the medicine course. You will be expected to conduct research and other scholarly activities that contribute to the school's profile.
As Lecturer you will report to the Associate Professor for Early Rural Medical Education and will be based at the Churchill campus, and be required to attend other campuses and academic units for the School of Rural Health particularly in the Gippsland region.
If you think you have the passion and capability to excel in this role, we look forward to hearing from you.
This role is a part-time position, however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
