The Opportunity

The GENERATOR initiative, which commenced in 2016, encompasses a series of programs designed to guide students and staff through developing and refining smart ideas and assisting them to work towards developing and achieving their business objectives, driving a culture of entrepreneurship across the university and creating start-up entities in future.  The role of Entrepreneurship Program Manager will be key to this initiative, responsible for co-ordinating and supporting programs aimed at the identification, planning, creating and championing new student and staff-led start-ups.

In this role you will work closely with staff, students and external partners to identify new markets and partnership opportunities, building relationships and securing funding from various government and commercial sources.  Leading and managing the program implementations, you will help mentor teams, provide strategic advice, and evaluate the return on investment as well as delivering a range of events to promote key initiatives.

Your passion for new ideas, relationship management and business outcomes will come to the fore in this role, enabling you to lead and manage programs and start-up initiatives, developing and leveraging off relationships to drive success.  Your proven history of identifying, scoping, developing and implementing successful programs, coupled with your strong planning and analytical skills, will ensure maximum return on investment whilst driving the success of The Generator programs.

If you thrive in a dynamic, smart ideas-driven environment and have a passion for entrepreneurship, then this is the right role for you!
