University of the Year 2014/2015 - Times Higher Education Awards

About You
A passionate and enthusiastic professional, you will have a good relevant honours degree, and hold a PhD (or be close to completion). You will demonstrate an established specialism in Bilingualism, whilst an additional secondary specialism in Psycholinguistics and/or Language Acquisition would also be welcome.
Your ability to develop and use effective, flexible and innovative approaches to teaching, learning and assessment coupled with a commitment to engage in advanced scholarship and research will enable you to quickly establish yourself as a key member of this multidisciplinary academic department.

About the Role
You will contribute to all aspects of BA teaching, playing a significant role in the delivery of modules on the English Language curriculum. This will involve the delivery of lectures, seminars, tutorials, and online interaction, and the facilitation of student work in a range of different media.
You should be committed to research-informed teaching, and to student success; and be reflective practitioners of HE teaching.
