The University is an exciting and dynamic environment with a strong profile across all the Arts and Sciences. We have grown and enhanced our reputation considerably over the past few years and this post will be central to the future ambitions of the University articulated in our strategic plan.

The appointee will be responsible for creating a high quality customer service ethos with all stakeholders to enable the University to flourish and develop in line with its ambitions. They will develop a lifecycle approach to service, aligning operations to the different stages of engagement to support and develop all members of the University community to enable the effective delivery of University services and operations.

The appointee will be responsible for the overall people strategies of the University to create an excellent working, studying and researching environment for the whole of the University community.

Strong candidates must have proven managerial leadership and will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of customer service and experience of leading knowledge based and creatively driven people.

The appointee will be a proven operator at a senior management level with the ability to demonstrate their experience of the development of strategy and operational delivery within a successful higher education environment
