The role

RMIT Connect is a frontline service for students contacting RMIT. As a Student Support Advisor, you will become a member of a multi-disciplinary team providing information, advice and guidance via multiple channels to RMIT students on a wide range of student support and administration issues. The successful candidate will work predominately at RMIT Connect on City Campus, and may be required to work in job rotation with RMIT Connect at the Brunswick and Bundoora campuses, and the Contact Centre.

Skills & Experience required

You will have demonstrated experience in providing high quality student/customer service information and advice to a diverse domestic and international student client base with the ability to display your excellent interpersonal skills and oral communication, along with the ability to listen, interpret and convey information and provide advice in a clear, accurate and appropriate manner, and deal sensitively and empathetically with issues where necessary while maintaining confidentiality. Furthermore the ability to use your initiative and resolve complex issues, whilst working in a heavily administrative and collaborative environment will be critical to your success in the role.
