Teaching Assistant in Chemistry
Duties & Responsibilities   
Position Summary:
The Teaching Assistant has responsibility for organizing and teaching laboratory sections in undergraduate chemistry courses, in collaboration with faculty and technicians, including general Chemistry and upper level laboratory courses and grade exams assignments and lab reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Organize and teach laboratory sections for chemistry courses

2.Independently or in collaboration with the course instructor, grade lab
reports, design quizzes and exams for the lab sections assigned

3.Enforce laboratory safety procedures

4.Other duties as assigned by the Head of Department
1.Strong knowledge of all chemistry sub-disciplines at the undergraduate level

2.Knowledge of laboratory procedures and laboratory safety regulations
3.Experience in the use of laboratory instrumentation commonly used in undergraduate laboratories at all levels

4.Ability to teach in an English language environment, but ability to communicate in Arabic is an advantage

MSc degree in Chemistry, Phd applicants will be considered

1.    A three-year renewable contract.
