To join us, you will need a good first degree and a doctorate in Arabic Studies or a related subject. We will expect you to have experience of high quality teaching, with the ability to teach Arabic at all levels. Indeed, you are an outstanding communicator in both English and Arabic. Crucially, you have a demonstrable ability - and plan - to carry out research with the potential to shape the disciplinary agenda or create public benefit in terms of individual, societal or economic wellbeing.
