We would like to appoint a Head of CS&I who has the ambition, leadership track record and networks with industry and employers to champion this fast growing and thriving area. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of a growth plan which includes developing a distinctive academic portfolio, employability and excellent overall student experience with a focus on employer interaction. CS&I comprises a set of well-established areas including software engineering, cloud computing, business intelligence analysis, bioinformatics, communication networks, and computer and information security.

You should be educated to first degree standard in Computer Science with a doctorate or comparable industry experience and credible professional track record. You will be able to work collaboratively within and outside of the University. A strong track record of practice experience and applied research is highly desirable.
