You will be ambitious and pro-active candidate with a flexible, hands-on approach who will take a leading role in developing an innovative platform of lectures, visits and workshops as well as teaching students how to use software such as CAD, to represent their design in contemporary imaging and to integrate computational studies and reports into their studio work. Working closely with programme leaders to ensure the relevance of the topic both to the studio work and to a broad understanding of practice (CAD and BIM) and employability and be responsible for coordinating computational software training within the professional programmes and for relating the teaching platform to the requirements of the professional body. You will be encouraged to pro-actively start up own research initiatives and industry collaborations and contribute to our digital printing and robotics research group.
You will be educated to degree level or above with professional qualifications in architecture and experience in Computer training for architects and designers. You will have experience and advanced knowledge of many software packages Autocad, Microstation Rhino 3d studio max, Revit, Vector works etc and have teaching experience.
