The University of Glasgow, a member of the Russell Group of leading UK research-intensive universities, is making further investment in the Adam Smith Business School to enhance its international standing in research and teaching.
Professor in Corporate Finance and/or Banking Ref: 013526
Salary will be within the professorial range and subject to negotiation
You will provide academic leadership by conducting internationally-leading research, delivering research-led education, and contributing to School administration as required by the Head of the Adam Smith Business School and the Head of the Accounting and Finance subject group within the School. You will also lead a research agenda in Corporate Finance and/or Banking.
You will have a good first degree in Accounting or Finance and PhD awarded (or equivalent research experience) in a related area, along with a comprehensive and up to date knowledge of research issues, both nationally and internationally and future direction of research in Accounting or Finance. With an established reputation for high quality research, you will have an extensive track record of publications (national and international) compatible with enhancing the School’s submission to the REF.
It is anticipated that interviews will be held on 11 January 2017.
