Job Description

Manage a team of six Enrollment Service Advisors in providing comprehensive information and services related to admissions, financial assistance, student employment, the university registrar, and other enrollment concerns to students and other clients. As part of a team of three Senior Assistant Directors, collaboratively manage a total staff of 18 Enrollment Services Advisors dedicated to responding to significant volumes of telephone, e-mail and direct service inquiries and to providing high quality service that is timely, accurate, sensitive, cooperative, and proactive. Play a critical role in ensuring the University meets enrollment and retention goals while enhancing the Universitys reputation for exceptional service. In addition to day-to- day operations, provide continuous training to the Enrollment Service Advisors and effectively manage workflow as determined by enrollment cycles. Promote the analysis and improvement of service operations by overseeing the ongoing collection of relevant metrics and quality assurance reports.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree, excellent organization and communication skills, the ability to evaluate and analyze detailed and complex student enrollment and financial information, the ability to effectively counsel and advise students and families regarding financial management and planning, and five to eight years of management experience, preferably in a university or customer service setting in the area of admissions, financial assistance, registrar or student employment.
