We are looking to recruit a Registry Manager – Data Quality as part of our Student Systems and Records team in Registry, to lead the preparation of the University’s statutory and related returns.
The Student Systems and Records team are responsible for managing the systems that underpin the student journey and the records within those systems. The Data Quality team manages a number of statutory returns and are responsible for supporting the delivery of accurate and complete student data through the Student Records System (SITS:Vision), for which the integrity of data within the student record is paramount.
There are four Registry Managers all of whom oversee a subset of the key functions, ensuring an efficient service is provided to students and staff. The Registry Manager - Data Quality has specific responsibility for the Data Quality team and the review and improvement of associated processes and systems that support the preparation of our returns in response to the changing HE environment. You will work with colleagues across the institution to ensure compliance with data standards as well as oversee the data structure and data integrity within the Student Records System.
We are looking for someone with management experience, or who can demonstrate leadership qualities, as well as having a sound technical background in student records or similar large scale systems, experience in data returns and a strong customer focus.
You should have:
- A good understanding of HE and student related issues
- Significant experience using Tribal SITS or another large student records system
- Advanced knowledge of external returns
- Knowledge of the application of academic regulations within a student records system
- Advanced IT and data handling skills
- Excellent organisation, written and oral communication skills
