About the Role

An exciting new opportunity as the Senior International Officer - China is now available to join the newly created International Student Recruitment and Collaborations team under the leadership of the PVC External Affairs, Professor Judith Lamie.

The Senior International Officer for China will be responsible for developing and managing the marketing and recruitment strategy for the University of Derby primarily in China, managing the University’s China Office, ensuring delivery of student recruitment targets and collaboration objectives as outlined in the University’s International Strategy. In addition you will be expected to manage the University of Derby’s participation in overseas exhibitions and missions ensuring high levels of service and support are given to staff attending overseas events and ensuring professional and consistent representation of the University.

This role requires dynamic, innovative marketing professional with significant experience in international student recruitment and with excellent communication skills, an ability to understand the challenges and opportunities of the international recruitment environment and be able to travel extensively and work collaboratively with colleagues across the University to help support and deliver an innovative International Strategy.
