A qualified teacher with experience of delivering high quality teacher training, your knowledge spans UK English education in theory and practice. We also expect you to have a good first degree and doctorate in a relevant discipline. You will bring to the role an ability to carry out internationally recognised research which shapes the disciplinary agenda or creates public benefit in terms of individual, societal or economic wellbeing. With a subject specialism in English, you are an experienced teacher at undergraduate and postgraduate level. It is vital that you have a strong working knowledge of current and developing initiatives in Initial Teacher Education in the UK.
