Waikato Management School

The Waikato Management School is an internationally renowned business school with triple crown accreditation and offers highly regarded degrees including the four-year Bachelor of Management Studies, Bachelor of Business Analysis (Financial), Master degrees in Electronic Commerce (MECom) and Business Management (MBM), Master of Management Studies, an executive MBA, together with the research degrees MPhil and PhD.

The Department of Management Systems offers papers in most of the degree programmes of the School. Also we have our main subject areas offered as majors, and also at Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma, Masters and PhD levels of study.

With a local inland port due to commence operation within the next few years, and supply chain logistics developments being driven by new technologies, the Department is keen to shift its research emphasis into these areas. We are seeking applications from exceptional early career academics who can demonstrate teaching experience with a developing record of scholarly publications in either of these areas.

You will have a PhD in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related discipline. Your research interests will be in some of the following: supply chain management, value chain management, logistics, emerging technologies in SCM and logistics, retail supply networks and value chains. Linkages with other international management scholars in other institutions, and experience working in industry, would be an advantage.

Current salary range for Lecturers is NZ$69,379 to $84,706 per year.
