As part of UTS’s innovative and vibrant Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building, you will join the School of Built Environment. This School has a reputation for creating some of the most progressive, future-focused thinkers and leaders in the construction, property, planning and related industries. Our students learn in a leading-edge, dynamic environment, centred on a transdisciplinary approach.
As the School embarks on an exciting phase of growth, capable and motivated academics are needed to build upon the discipline’s research agenda. As a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, you will deliver high quality teaching in subjects, primarily at the undergraduate level. You will become part of active research teams, presenting ongoing research to the Faculty and School and fostering productive links with other scholars on the global stage. You will also have the opportunity to develop academic leadership experience.
It is an exciting time to join the faculty and to be in Sydney, with the plethora of large scale construction and infrastructure projects taking place. As the successful candidate, you can be assured that you will be working with a supportive cohort of academics and will receive solid support from the institution in regard to research. You will also be able to avail of opportunities to conduct research in construction project management with reputed scholars from across the University through interdisciplinary research centres at UTS.

Base Salary Range: Lecturer: $96,992 to $110,988 pa (Level B); Senior Lecturer: $117,906 to $131,743 pa (Level C).
This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary. Employee benefits include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.
This appointment will be on a continuing full-time basis.
