Job Description

Reconcile grant related accounts on a monthly basis, update grant recap sheets for Principal Investigators, and assist the Business Manager with grant proposals as needed, for the department which receives fifteen million in grant funding each year and over 70 funded projects from outsides sources, both federal and non-federal. Supervise student employees within PBS and coordinate work flow of Senior Accounts Coordinator ensuring that all transactions necessary and completed in a timely manner, and provide assistance during busy periods and vacation and sick days.

Required Skills

Bachelors degree with three to five years of related experience. Employee must have a broad, detailed understanding of the workings of grant management including but not limited to the Uniform Guidance Policy for federal grants, how fringe benefit rates and F&A rates affect grant management, and what is and not allowed on federal grants. This person will also have the ability to handle a multitude of tasks within a busy, thriving environment and be able to recognize peak periods and slower periods and how to handle these different work flows efficiently.
