Job Description
Provide high-level support to the Directors, staff and programs of both units, which promote innovation, pedagogical applications of technology and related communities of practice across the university. Staff of both units, including the Administrative Coordinator, are encouraged to take advantage of educational and training opportunities throughout the University and beyond. Work associated with this position gives the Administrative Coordinator opportunities to connect with administrative colleagues throughout the University community and also to meet and work with students and faculty. This position reports to the Directors of the DLI & Ed Tech Groups.
Required Skills
B.A./B.S. required, one to three years of relevant experience. Excellent verbal and written communication is essential. Ability to establish and maintain respectful, cooperative, productive work relationships. Strong organizational and project management capabilities, including the ability to manage a variety of complex projects and priorities, coordinate with others, and follow projects through to completion. Initiative to organize, prioritize, plan, and manage own work activities according to necessary timelines and schedules. Tact and discretion with sensitive/confidential information. Ability to operate comfortably in a wide variety of roles, whether behind the scenes, or publicly representing the offices in a professional manner. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Knowledge of WordPress for website content maintenance and SAP a plus.
