The Department of Economics at Boston University invites applications for a position as tenured Associate Professor or Professor to begin July 1, 2017, pending budgetary approval. We seek a candidate with a focus in the field of empirical economics, with particular interest in, but not limited to, microeconomics of the family and/or gender. Candidates must have an international reputation in research and an exceptional record of teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will conduct research, teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, advise students, and perform service to the Department, the University, and the profession.
