Curtin is now entering an exciting phase as it focuses on further building its research capacity, and enhancing its already strong reputation for innovation in teaching and learning. With this in mind, the School of Marketing is offering an outstanding opportunity for a Lecturer, Teaching and Research in the discipline of marketing. The successful applicant may be required to teach on both our marketing and advertising degree programs.
Your accountabilities and responsibilities include:
- Delivering high quality teaching to undergraduate, honours, postgraduate and Higher Degree by Research students.
- Contributing to curriculum innovation and pedagogical design.
- Contributing to the School of Marketing’s world class programs of scholarly research.
The School of Marketing has an international reputation for its research, in particular the focal areas of luxury branding, customer experience and marketing communications. You will be able to participate in and contribute to a thriving academic community.
To be successful, you will need:
- A doctoral qualification in marketing with a strong track record of quality publications Demonstrated experience delivering high quality teaching and learning outcomes at a tertiary level in the marketing discipline.
- Emerging industry networks and a willingness to further develop those networks.
Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing and communication will be highly regarded.
Benefits and Remuneration: The salary ranges presented are those which are contained within the University's Enterprise Agreements; as are the employee benefits which include employer superannuation contribution at the rate of the current Government Superannuation Guarantee amount up to 17 percent, study assistance, a comprehensive salary packaging and wellness programs and flexible and family friendly work practices.
