Grade G:  £37,075 - £46,924 per annum

The Department of Strategic Management and Marketing, a key component of Leicester Business School offers UG & PG programmes to more than 1,700 students. This rapidly growing academic community delivers an outstanding learning experience to students (as evidenced in the latest NSS) and attaining excellent employability results. The Department has recently launched the Centre for Enterprise and Innovation.

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Stratetic Management.  You must have an excellent track record in portfolio development, management & teaching. Ideally you should be able to teach one or more of the following:  research methods, international management, supply chain management and strategic management. You should be innovative in your approach to teaching, and active in engaging with external stakeholders. You should have a portfolio of research activities that offer realist prospect of publication in international refereed journals. Ideally your research portfolio should revolve around one or more of the following areas:  Ethnic/migrant entrepreneurship, innovation management, and organisational resilience/business continuity management/emergency management.

You will be joining a large and diverse subject team whose expertise spans areas such as: The business environment, international management, strategy, contemporary business issues, management and operations, crisis and business continuity management. The team aims to combines research and scholarly activity in pursuit of teaching excellence. It places particular emphasis in developing internationalisation and employability throughout the curriculum with the aim of providing a distinctive student experience.  We offer a collegiate environment for the development of your research & teaching.
