The University of Wolverhampton Law School is undergoing and exciting period of growth and expansion. The Law School has a number of strategic goals including excellence in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level and carrying out world class and internationally recognised research. In order to implement its strategy the Law School is seeking to appoint up to three Lecturer/Senior Lecturers in Law who will assist in the successful delivery of these goals.
You will be expected to make a full contribution to the work of a thriving and expanding Law School and in particular to the delivery of the legal education portfolio. You will engage actively in the delivery of the student experience including pedagogical work, curriculum development and supporting student employability activities which may include, for example, participating in the work of the University Legal Advice Centre. You will be expected to contribute to the teaching and assessment one or more of the Foundations of Legal Knowledge and contribute to one or more of the option modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Experience in teaching European Union Law, Contract Law and/or Commercial Law would be advantageous as would the ability to contribute to or lead on Intellectual Property Law, Internet Law, International Trade Law and/or International Commercial Law.
