The Learning Futures portfolio is seeking a Director with the vision and research based expertise in innovative academic development to lead a highly strategic and influential team of curriculum experts. The role will work closely with the PVC to lead transformative curriculum initiatives that cross disciplines and realise new synergies between education, research, industry and our local communities.
This leadership role will be supported by a new academic team and an established network of School based Curriculum Advisors. It works alongside other established teams within the Portfolio and the Division of the DVC Academic. The position is part of the Learning Futures leadership group and offers a rare opportunity to join a vibrant young university in a key leadership role in an energetic and creative team.
The Learning Futures Portfolio has strong senior leadership and a genuinely collaborative approach to research-led educational innovation. It comprises a new network of teams with expertise in university curriculum & pedagogy, technology enhanced learning, learning support, and education for sustainability. It houses two PVC Offices and works closely with the Senior Executive, other groups in the Academic Division and with teams across the University to support the university community to innovate and excel in curriculum design and teaching in today's technology rich learning environments.
Please note that the University reserves the right to appoint at Academic Level D (Associate Professor) or Academic Level C (Senior Lecturer) depending on the applicants qualifications, skills and experience.
Remuneration Package: Academic Level D $162,090 to $178,029 per annum ( comprising Salary $137,341 to $150,964 p.a.,); Academic Level C $135,513 to $155,449 per annum (comprising Salary $114,626 to $$131,665 p.a.). These rates are also inclusive of 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading)
