Job Description

Act as the frontline in the Center for English Language and Orientation Programs (CELOP)s Admission Department. Handle all CELOP e-mail, incoming calls and inquiries. Assist students, families, and visitors atCELOP. Manage incoming applications. Maintain key databases. Assist in the hiring, training, and supervising of student workers. Provide overall administrative support to admissions, CELOPs staff and faculty,student registration, operations, and functions in the center. Prepare and send out new and continuing students acceptance materials, along with several other forms and documents.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree, strong customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work and communicate effectively with international students, families, and sponsors from a variety of countries and cultures. Ability to handle multiple and non-routine tasks. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Filemaker is helpful. Overseas experience and working knowledge of a foreign language preferred. One to three years of office experience.
