The University seeks to appoint an experienced Chief Operating Officer for its Malaysia campus, to support the continued success and growth or our operation in Malaysia. The Chief Operating Officer will work closely with the Provost of the University of Reading Malaysia and will lead all non-academic operations and teams. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the future success of the Malaysia campus, which is at the forefront of University of Reading’s international expansion.
Candidates will be professionally qualified and will bring significant leadership experience gained in a university, with a background in student services. They will have a strong commercial and business focus, and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the challenges facing higher education in the UK and internationally. A highly process-oriented mind-set, coupled with the ability and credibility to establish strong and collaborative working relationships with colleagues across the wider University, will be crucial for success in this position.
