Postdoctoral Researcher
in human translation control
About this position:
We're are looking for a new post-doctoral team member, who will investigate structures of ribosomal complexes involved in human translation control. Our lab is equipped with state-of-the-art cryo-EM instruments, available at our in-house core facility. Plus, we've recently secured substantial third-party funding, including an ERC Starting Grant and an EMBO Installation Grant, ensuring robust support for our research endeavors.

The ideal candidate profile:
Must-have:
A PhD degree or equivalent in structural biology, biochemistry, molecular biology or related field Expertise in cryo-EM or cryo-ET, structural biology, human tissue culture work or translation is strong plus as well as programming skills A publication record in peer-reviewed journals Interpersonal skills required to supervise junior members of the research group Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Nice-to-have:
Good communication and interpersonal skills Motivation and a collaborative mindset
