Post-doctoral Fellow in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Global Health Institute, the School of Public Health (Ref.: 531491), to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year or two-year temporary term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in biological/medical sciences or related fields, with experience in virology, microbiology and/or immunology, and a proven research track record. Strong communication skills, with a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese are essential. Applicants should be organized, attentive to details, responsible, self-motivated, and be able to work independently as well as in a team. Prior experience in vaccine/drug development and/or clinical trials is advantageous.

The appointee will be responsible for the collaborative projects on vaccine development for influenza and other respiratory diseases. For enquiries about the duties of the position, please contact Dr. Alex Chin at alexchin@hku.hk.
