The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University appoints a selection procedure for the position
Assistant Professor of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of the Faculty of Medicine MU
(with shorter working hours 8 hours per week)
The Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation is an educational and research institution of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University. Provides teaching of study programs in non-medical fields.

The workplace: Brno, the Czech Republic
The scope of your work will be:
- Participation in theoretical and practical teaching at the department, focusing on subjects such as physiotherapy, differential diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders, and musculoskeletal medicine.
- Preparation of study and teaching materials.
- Membership in state examination committees.
- Involvement in the education of doctoral students.
- Independent research and development activities, including publishing and presenting research results.
- Contribution to the organizational support of research and teaching activities, including related administration.
Required qualification:
- Completed university education in general medicine, or an equivalent degree obtained abroad.
- Specialized medical qualification in the field of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine or a related field according to Act No. 95/2004 Coll.
- Authorization of the first level of professional competence to perform procedures in the field of musculoskeletal medicine, and a course in manual and musculoskeletal medicine.
- Experience in physiotherapy, differential diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders, and musculoskeletal medicine.
- Teaching experience in the field of physiotherapy.
- Ability to conduct independent professional and scientific work, including publication activities.
- Ability to actively participate in international conferences or professional seminars.
- Proficiency in English.
- Excellent command of the Czech language, both spoken and written.
- Active approach, initiative, and willingness for further education.
- Civil and moral integrity.
