Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor in Psychology (24250037)

The Academy of Wellness and Human Development invites applications for the positions of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in the subject area of Psychology. Successful candidates will be expected to engage in cutting-edge academic research, contribute to the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, supervise student projects and dissertations, and participate in administrative activities as required.

Applicants should have a doctoral degree in psychology or related disciplines. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Biopsychology, Neuroscience, Brain imaging (fMRI/EEG/fNIRS), Computational modelling and statistics, and/or Psychology in special education.

Requirements:

  • A doctoral degree;
  • Strong track record in research and tertiary teaching experience;
  • Substantial publication record in high-impact international refereed journals; and
  • Solid experience in course instruction, research student supervision, programme administration and development, and academic administration. 

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of three years, commencing August 2025. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
