About the Role
Collaborating with the Chief Investigator and research team, the Research Fellow in Biostatistics/Data Science will involve contributing to project design and implementation, data analysis, and manuscript preparation for publication.
The Research Fellow will also stay actively involved in current and emerging research within the program, producing high-quality publications and presenting at conferences. Additionally, the position will support the preparation of applications for external research funding.
The role may also include supervising honours and postgraduate research projects.
About You
To be successful in this role you will exhibit:
- Completion of a PhD in either Biostatistics, Data Science, Medicine or Epidemiology.
- Demonstrated research experience in terms of publications in high quality publications, attraction of external competitive grants and presentations at a national and/or international level in Biostatistics, Data Science or Epidemiology.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute data collection and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to critically review the literature in relevant fields.
- Demonstrated experience to undertake collaborative research and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff and industry.
