We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Staff Visa Administrative Officer to support our commitment to ensuring compliance with UKVI requirements concerning the employment of migrant workers, including both staff and student staff on visas.

Reporting to the Staff Visa Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in:

  • Reviewing, amending, and developing people processes and systems related to migrant worker employment to ensure compliance with UK immigration law.
  • Cascading critical compliance information and updates to key stakeholders across the University, ensuring awareness and understanding of these processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in immigration compliance, HR systems, or process improvement. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach are essential for success in this role.

If you are passionate about supporting compliance and want to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply.

For an informal discussion please contact Kelvin Adetunji, Staff Visa Compliance Manager, m.k.adetunji@greenwich.ac.uk

Due to the nature of this role, and the fact that it will require Home Office clearance to access the UKVI Sponsor Management System, we are unfortunately unable to consider any applicant who will require a Certificate of Sponsorship under Tier 2 of the Points Based Immigration System. The successful applicant will be required to undertake a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
