About the role:

Operating within Psychology (Strathfield), in partnership with the Australian Automobile Association (AAA) and RMIT, our research team is developing an online training intervention (targeting improving physical health, cognitive capacity and hazard perception skills) to improve the safety of older adult pedestrians. You will be involved in conducting face-to-face studies in older adults using a variety of measures including physical function, cognitive function and virtual reality simulation. You will also manage the timelines, staffing and budget of this large-scale multi-site project and liaise with both the AAA and RMIT for the successful completion of this project.

What we offer:

  • Total remuneration valued to $94,914 - $128,342 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $80,204 - $108,451 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level A), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 2.8% increase will be effective from the beginning of the last full pay period before 30 June 2025.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
