Position Summary:
The Department of Chemistry at Susquehanna University invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in Biochemistry for the 2025-26 academic year, with the possibility of a second year contingent upon departmental staffing needs. Teaching duties will include General Chemistry and Biochemistry of Metabolism lectures and labs. Interested candidates may have the opportunity to engage undergraduate students in independent research.

Required Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry is required by August 2025. Demonstrated success or evidence of potential to excel in teaching undergraduates is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Post-doctoral research and/or prior biochemistry teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred but not required. Evidence of mentoring undergraduate students in research projects is preferred.
