Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (PDF) in the Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year temporary term basis, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a PhD in biomedical engineering, biological science, or medical science, or equivalent. The appointee will work on developing three-dimensional tissue imaging. Proficiency in molecular biology techniques (RNA extraction and sequencing prep, Western blot, molecular cloning, protein expression and purification), histology techniques (including immunohistochemistry, fluorescent in situ hybridization), confocal microscopy, and basic data analysis. Strong knowledge of microscopy, imaging and image analysis will be highly advantageous. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
