About the opportunity
Working within Mobility and Credit Team, you will perform administrative duties under general direction including preparing documents, records and web materials, responding to queries, assessing and processing a variety of applications applying relevant policies, rules and guidelines, and sourcing solutions related to the effective, timely and compliant delivery of student administration services.
This role requires strong administrative and organisational skills to coordinate and undertake a range of operational activities on an ongoing basis.
The position may be affected by leave exclusion periods, work rotation and overtime.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- deliver daily administration activities and services ensuring high quality, efficient and compliant administrative support is provided in a proactive manner to staff, students, clients and visitors
- ensure that appropriate action is taken on matters brought to the work area, and that issues are resolved effectively and efficiently
- provide sound advice, recommendations and solutions on student administration related matters
- maintain professional, productive and positive relationships with faculty administrative staff, academics and other internal stakeholders
- coordinate filing, e-filing and records management in line with University Policy.
About you
We are looking for a motivated individual with an enthusiastic "can do" attitude and an interest in the student's journey who demonstrates:
- an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work
- advanced computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- excellent organisational and time management skills, particularly when working with a large volume of enquiries
- exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- well-developed negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building and influencing skills
- working knowledge of Student Administration associated software programs, applications and databases.
