About the opportunity
The John Grill Institute for Project Leadership has a flagship Executive Leadership in Major Projects program, with a significant alumni base. This program supports a cross-sectoral cohort of project managers in the transition to leading complex projects and programs. Alumni of the program are from the new energy, resources, infrastructure, construction, software, finance and telecoms industries. The program is currently being refreshed for relaunch in early 2026.
In this role your key responsibilities will be to:
- Lead this Executive Leadership program, working on all aspects, including business development and recruitment of a suitable cohort, the facilitation of the cohort experience through the program, and work with the alumni base.
- Working with the Institute Director and Institute Manager to input into the shaping of the detailed design and launch of the 2026 cohort, and continued update, of this flagship executive education offering for future cohorts.
- Ensure the practical delivery of the course, identifying and liaising with guest speakers and panel members, and communicating clearly with professional staff to ensure a high-quality of delivery,
- Deepen the relationship within the University of Sydney communities and partners to deliver joint workshops with relevant organisations and agencies
- Bring practical experience into the facilitation activities and become familiar with the research of the Institute to support researchers in developing industry-relevant publications and contributions.
