The opportunity

As a civil engineering laboratory supervisor specialising in structures and materials analysis, you will take a proactive role in designing and managing our undergraduate teaching laboratories in Structural Engineering, Hydraulics, Geotechnics, and Materials (including concrete technology labs). In this role you will utilise your extensive technical ability to contribute to the development of enhanced laboratory component of our UG programme. In addition to teaching support, you will also provide invaluable technology research support for our postgraduates and research staff, formalising technical procedures for advanced research testing in structural engineering and materials, and training students and staff on use of advanced digitally controlled automated testing equipment (including H&S implications).
