Job Description:

The Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), in its Materials Science and Nanoengineering (MSN) department, is seeking a highly qualified Post-Doctoral Researcher to contribute to innovative research in the field of phosphoric acid purification and treatment. The position focuses on enhancing current methods of phosphoric acid production, with an emphasis on developing novel techniques and optimizing the metallization of low-grade phosphoric acid.

The successful candidate will engage in cutting-edge research aimed at improving production efficiency and addressing the challenges posed by the use of lower-quality raw materials. This role involves working with a variety of characterization and analysis techniques to evaluate process outcomes and ensure high standards in acid purification.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead research on novel processes for phosphoric acid production, focusing on sustainability and efficiency.
  • Innovate and apply metallization techniques to upgrade low-grade phosphoric acid.
  • Use advanced characterization methods (e.g., spectroscopy, chromatography) for phosphoric acid analysis.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across UM6P’s MSN department to align research goals with industrial needs.
  • Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at scientific conferences.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of phosphoric acid production processes (wet-process, thermal process, or others).
  • Proficiency in characterization techniques such as spectroscopy and metallization methods.
  • Demonstrated research experience in acid treatment and purification technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a capacity for independent research.

Application:

Interested candidates are invited to submit the following documents:
